Georgia Lee London MA, LMFT, RYT, CHC, D.CE.
Georgia is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified Life Coach with the Institute of Life Coach Training, a registered Yoga Alliance, Yoga teacher and a certified Holistic Health Counselor by the American Society of Alternative Therapists. One of her greatest loves in life is sharing the joy of movement with others. She enjoys motivating and inspiring people to achieve their self-care, health and wellness goals. Georgia was delighted to discover ZENgevity, a fitness form for ages 50 and better, that is truly holistic with attention to the Body, Mind, Emotions, Energetics, Social and Spirit needs of each person. Georgia believes ZENgevity was a major healing in her journey from cancer illness to whole-body wellness. She infuses her teaching with compassion, humor, understanding, and the wisdom of personal experience. Currently, Georgia has a Life Coach practice for holistic health and wellness. She leads adventure retreats for individuals, groups and corporations. She is the creator of ZENgevity and leads the International ZENgevity teacher training program. She created Firewater Coaching and Consulting in 1999 and continues to manage this company that offers Dance of Abundance Business Boot Camp, business coaching, holistic health counseling and runs retreats for corporations, groups and individuals.
Prior Experience:
Georgia has worked in the field of Addictions and Recovery since 1984 as a clinical researcher and clinician. She served as Clinical Director of the Harvard Cocaine Recovery Project and the IV-Drug/AIDS Outreach program at Harvard Medical School, Cambridge, MA. She has been a therapist and consultant for New Start Drug Abuse Counseling Center in Santa Monica, CA, as well as maintaining a private psychotherapy practice specializing in recovery, women and healing. She was the creator and lead Educational Consultant for GTG, Inc. Gifted and Talented Students, Teachers and Counselors in Austin, TX. She has taught at Sidwell-Friends School in Washington, DC where she started an after school Gymnastics School for privileged and underprivileged children. She sold the gymnastics school, her first business venture in 1977.
